The Impact of Government On Health Policies

Health policy is everything that influences factors in the health sector so that it can improve the quality of public health. The policy is a decision made from those responsible for the health sector, therefore it is necessary to conduct an analysis and implement a health program especially for maternal and child health.

Public Health Law: A Tool to Address Emerging Health Concerns

Health policy is divided into 4 levels:

Systemic level. are the main features that shape the overall health system, for example in public or private roles, the involvement of public institutions and healthy relations with other sectors.

Program level. decides priorities for health services, real health programs and the ways in which resources must be allocated (operational activities).

Organizational level. refers to the ways in which resources can be used productively and can provide high-quality services to the community.

Instrumental level. is the level in developing good instruments, such as in the development of human resource systems and information systems such as service support in medical and chiropractic service (chiropractor Dothan).

The World Health Organization (WHO) Defines Health Policies

Health policy is synonymous with regulations, laws or regulations made by a country. WHO defines health policies as decisions, plans, and actions that must be carried out to achieve health goals in the community.

Many nations, in recent years, has carried out several actions or steps to prevent stunting, such as supplementary feeding for pregnant women and toddlers. Not only that, but the government is also handling the improvement of basic health services such as access to clean water and a clean and adequate environment that is also expected to prevent stunting.

Government Role In Implementing Health Policies

The government does have a very big role in this regard, but parents also have a significant role in preventing stunting by maintaining optimal nutritional intake when pregnant, then giving exclusive breastfeeding, giving MPASI with balanced nutrition, ensuring regular feeding patterns with balanced nutrition and maintaining health to avoid disease.

As reported by several sources that the long-term impact of stunting is not only a short body but among others also Affect cognitive abilities, increased risk of obesity in adulthood and risk degenerative disease.

Thus the health policy that has been designed well by the government requires good collaboration with all stakeholders and the whole community to care for the importance of personal, family and community health not only to prevent nutritional problems, one of which is stunting but also other diseases through policies promotive, preventive and curative in order to maintain health in order to always be a healthy, productive and creative society.

Final Thoughts

Because one aspect that will improve the degree of public health is when the country makes health a very important and valuable thing, so as to promote promotive and preventive movement policies through health education and healthy lifestyle approaches to the community and produce a healthy future generation, productive and creative to realize a better degree of health and of course better economic development with a healthy, productive and creative future generation of the nation. No politics is needed to implement the good for public health and safety.

Importance of Regular Sleeping Pattern

When I was a kid, my mom used to tell me how important it is to have at least 7 hours of sleep. Since this had been her motto in taking care of me, he always make sure that I got at least 7 hours of sleep regardless of what time I sleep as long as my sleeping hours is enough. I remember we still have the Sleepy Will cheap king size mattress that time to make sure I sleep soundly.  Hence, when I was a kid I did not belong to those who sleep at 7 or 8 in the morning. I thought this strategy of mom is fine and will not matter or affect anything until I entered high school.

When I was in high school there are lots of homework, quizzes, group activities, and recitation. Also, in my highs school we usually do not have class in the morning because classes usually start at 11 am. I do not remember why but my whole high school I did not experience going to class at 8 am. Since I did not have classes in the morning, it is fine if I wake up late because my mom did not have a problem with me waking up late as long as I get 7 hours of sleep. But then one time i sleep early at 8 pm and wake up at 6 am. Then I notice that I feel really tired at school like I am not in the mood to participate in class. During recitations, I notice that every time my teacher ask an opinion, especially politics related, my opinion is always negative or opposed to the government.

Aside from class recitations, my classmates also noticed that when we are having a group meeting or group work, I am always oppose on the groups idea. Not only that but they said that I am already not that attentive and cooperative compared to the previous month.

That is when I realize that it is not important to sleep for 7-8 hours everyday. I should also have a regular sleeping pattern because irregularity will result in negative thoughts and energy.
