The way things are taking shape in the U.S. one would get the impression that Donald Trump’s presidency parallels that of a character in the Far Cry 5 video game and other similar Mobile Unblocked Games. Considering that the game was developed in 2017 and released for gaming in 2018, it is apparent that storyline developers of Far Cry 5, drew inspiration from Trump’s political views on how to improve the country’s socio-economic conditions.
Anyway, the Far Cry 5 story revolves around a doomsday cult called Project Eden led by Joseph Seed. The seed is a sentient android, an artificial human that is capable of experiencing feelings, and devious enough to sow conflict between humans and androids. To sow discord, the cult exploits the impoverished conditions of unemployed humans, in order to gain loyal and fanatic followers.
Seed and members of his Project Eden consider the non-sentient androids and the humans who employ them, as enemies and therefore must be eliminated from their world. A plot that is not a far cry from Trump’s actual political actions.
Similarity Between Trump’s Agenda and Joseph Seed’s Goals
To Trump and his supporters, immigrants have been taking employment opportunities that rightfully belong to American citizens. His campaign promise, therefore, included giving back to natural-born Americans, the right to take on jobs without tough competition. He promised to introduce policies that will diminish, if not eliminate immigrants from the employment markets.
Now that he has become the 45th US president, Trump has made good on his promise by imposing new policies limiting the number of immigrants allowed to work in the US. Moreover, he has branded illegal immigrants as animals, using it as justification for the need to build higher border walls.
Trump’s political saga continues to unfold. Non-profit civic organizations and 16 American states have filed lawsuits to stop him in his continuous pursuit of substantial funds for his ambitious border wall project. On the side, the US economy is hurting because of Trump’s new tariff policies, which led to trade rifts between other countries, particularly China. Anti-immigrant and anti-semitic sentiments are also on the rise.
Far Cry 5 Review
Far Cry 5 received favorable reviews from gamers, as they found the game packed with actionable settings that first-person shooters find engrossing. The game offers a broad range of weapons that include non-shooting objects used in melees, in addition to a wide selection of sniper and assault rifles, sidearms, shotguns, submachine guns, rocket launchers, dynamites and grenades. Players can ride cars, trucks, boats, quad bikes, and helicopters plus a special tractor outfitted with front blades that can shred cultists to pieces.
The enemies are the Project Eden fanatics led by hard-to-kill underbosses. Incapacitated targets can be revived by fellow cultists, which makes the action scenes more challenging to handle. Players may even encounter cultists who appear possessed or intoxicated, as indicated by some cloud hovering above their heads. Such adversaries are tougher to kill than the ordinary ones as they take in lots of bullets; giving a player some measure of uncertainty in extricating oneself from a tight situation.
Playing could take endless hours of immersion in trying to liberate posts and in the main mission of capturing Joseph Seed. Far Cry 5 is too hard to resist, making it important for gamers to nestle in gaming seats that can provide them adequate and proper support.Far Cry 5, politics and games, Trump's Anti-Immigration Policies
