Technology on communications, such as the Web, sip trunking, and other forms of communication services are utilized in different areas like politics. However, though majority of Americans own mobile devices for communication or if not have internet access, only 23% of them have utilized them for several political undertakings and interactions. This indicates that the possible use of these mobile communications for connecting possible electorates to politics has still to be grasped completely.

Each and every single vote matters within a Democracy and although you have rigorously worked to campaign, you yet have to count on the turnout or number of voters, which could be difficult to calculate or predict. Hence, regardless if the campaign is for a local, state or federal voting, you have to win the support of as any electorates as you could.

Win Over Voters Through Phone Banking

In politics, phone banking is a system used to get hold of and win support from potential voters. By utilizing the telephone or a mobile device, this makes it possible for your campaign team and volunteers to personally and directly reach out to as many of citizens as you can to lay emphasis on voter turnout as well as to get the backing of political entrants or the concerns of the general public.

Since phone banking is of great importance, how could you reach more potential voters in less time?

There are phone features that could help you with this like a calling assistant that is web-based that could function with any type of phone to not only double but triple your voter reach. Calling assistants get rid of the tedious and time-consuming task of dialing phone numbers manually by permitting you to instantly generate a calling campaign that is customized from voter lists in your locality as well as the areas surrounding you.

Another plus side of having a calling assistant is the capacity to do real-time scrubbing contrary to phone numbers that are in the do-not-call lists both in the state and federal level as well as any phone numbers that aren’t active anymore. This eliminates the waste of precious time calling inactive numbers and the possibility of calling someone that is in the do-not-call list.  Having a system that will not only safeguard you legally with scrubbing but will dial phone numbers continuously until you are immediately connected to a potential voter is worth it. The more individuals you are able to reach, the greater the possibility for you to win support of more voters.

We have so much to talk about nowadays when it comes to politics, and you expect that you and your own friends (and even your own family) can have opposite views regarding the pressing issues that have shaken our country. Regardless of what your opinion is, all of us have the right to express our thoughts, especially if we feel that certain rules in place are already impacting us negatively. The freedom of speech gives us protection to speak our minds, even if it means that we have to criticize the actions of our government.

Unfortunately, it appears that political dissent is not very much welcome in many nations. It depends on the country and its government’s tolerance on criticisms, but if you’ve been watching the news lately, you would know that talking against the highest governing body of the land will bring you nowhere. In fact, you will be painted as anti-government or someone who is up for a destabilization plot.

What Is Political Dissent?

We always have our say regarding different matters, like in music, fashion, and business. Also, as a citizen and taxpayer, we can freely give our comments on how the government is handling things in our country.

As a contributing member of the state, political affairs do have big effect on our lives, and it is only normal for us to speak if we find something that we like, or hate, in the system.

If we express disagreement towards the government, that is what we can call a political dissent. This refers to any action that sends a message of dissatisfaction to a governing body, particularly on the set of rules and policies that it has been implementing.

If you are in a democratic country, political dissent can be seen as part of its citizens’ human rights. Groups can stage non-violent demonstrations and any form of action that shows disagreement with some government rulings or policies, and they should not be held accountable or punished for that.

Of course, it is important that we recognize and respect our differences in views and beliefs, and we shouldn’t take that against each other. However, if we are talking about building a high-quality house, we should not settle for less. Contact only the best contractors and fort worth roofing companies in town.

Can Political Dissent Go Too Far? And How Should The Government Treat Opposition?

Political dissent is heavily based on our right to free speech, so speaking against certain policies in the government should never be used against us in any way. Only repressive governments and dictatorships can deem political dissent as anti-government and send people to jail just for expressing their opinion. It can go as ridiculous as putting you behind bars when you are merely asking for clean and safe water to drink.

Countering political dissent does not only mean physically restricting the one who is expressing it. Take the feedback that Captain Marvel is receiving due to its supposed political agenda as an example. There are many ways for a person or a group to be silenced, and one way is to bombard them with degrading remarks so that their message can never be heard.

Although, there is a limitation in expressing our political dissent. If it already verges on harming the lives of others, then we have a problem.

There are only a few days left before the next big installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) hits the theaters. Unlike any other feature movies in the MCU, “Captain Marvel” is considered as a game-changer by the Marvel fans, being the first MCU film to showcase a solo female superhero.

While many fans have waited for so long to see Captain Marvel on the big screen, there are some people who seem to be not quite happy with her arrival. The reason for their lack of enthusiasm is the issue that the movie will be all too political. Fanboys are not happy with how “Captain Marvel” has been promoted for the past couple of months due to its underlying political agenda, which is obviously centered on feminism. However, should politics get in the way of people enjoying a quality movie? Is it actually the politics that bother the viewers, or is it their deep-rooted personal beliefs and issues that are challenged?

Why ‘Captain Marvel’ Suddenly Become The Least Anticipated MCU Film?

If you have been following Rotten Tomatoes (RT) for the early reviews of upcoming movies, you might have already seen the “Want-to-See” rating of “Captain Marvel” plummeting from 100% to a tragic 27%. The reason behind this is the huge number of online trolls giving a negative rating on the movie, and fortunately RT saw through these trolls’ agenda and made the rating hidden. To be clear, this is not yet the critics’ score for the actual film, but only the rating given by the viewers if they are interested to watch it.

Even without asking all those RT trolls about their reasoning for giving “Captain Marvel” a thumbs down before watching the film, the reaction of some people is already evident regarding the movie’s theme. Judging by the trailers, you can say that “Captain Marvel” advocates for women empowerment. The fact that it is the first solo female superhero movie in MCU is a message in itself. It is also very well-known that actress Brie Larson, who bagged the titular character, is vocal about her political stand, especially about the lack of female representation in Hollywood.

The fanboys do not appear to be fine with how “Captain Marvel” is shaping up to be. According to some MCU fans, they do not need a preachy protest movie that calls out all the wrong in the world. Although, what appears to be the real reason for them not liking the movie is the central theme itself, which is feminism. It is also worth noting that Larson wants to see a more inclusive press panel for the movie, as she thinks that the previous movie press cons have been all white males. For the MCU fanbase that is predominantly male, this kind of ideas and statements already sounds like an attack to their very existence. Thus, the backlash ensues.

So ‘Captain Marvel’ Is All For Feminism, But Should We Frown On That?

Even without the political correctness that some people are sensitive of, we can expect the same intense action sequences from “Captain Marvel,” as every other films from the MCU had given us. From the trailer itself, we can see Larson’s character soaring high in the sky as she singlehandedly obliterate what appears to be an enemy spacecraft that is inflitrating Earth’s atmosphere. No one knows where that spaceship will crash, but hopefully it won’t end up crashing down a residential area or else we will a good roofing company fort worth to fix the damages.

If the cast and crew of “Captain Marvel” wants to give women a time to shine, why should we be angry about it? For a typical guy who always hears the call for woman finally getting recognition and be seen as equal of a man, the message can be sort of annoying. We can only imagine how the trailers made the fanboys’ blood boil. However, it is not the film’s intention to discredit anybody steal anything from one gender and place them to another.

Lastly, whether we like it or not, everything around us can be political. Not only movies and television series have a history of injecting a dose of politics to their contents, as most video games today also have huge political setting built around them.

Political Commitment For Clean Energy Reforms

February 28, 2019 | Politics | No Comments

Energy is inherently connected with political change since energy supply is a process that is large-scale. The provision of energies such as coal, gas, and electricity (see billigst strøm – strømtest.no) entails an immense amount of logistical support, which indicates the need for assistance from a multiplicity of government bodies. The impact of political change spreads further than the walls of the higher government where even little acts of legislation can drive shockwaves over numerous and various industries and not just the sector of energy which includes renewable energy.

Nonetheless, how is politics and renewable energy linked? Can renewable energy prosper without the backing of politics? Do the governments provide what the public need and want?

Politics And Renewable Energy

About 12% of gross final consumption of energy derives from renewable resources in Ireland, while Denmark reached 33% and has now topped its 2020 goal. Ireland, on the other hand, is not likely to reach 16% target, and may possibly be deficient by as much as 3%. Though Ireland has a bigger area of land as compared to Denmark, the number of population is the same, the usage of land as well as agriculture; nonetheless Denmark has renewable energy that is approximately three times as much than Ireland. Why is this so?

The response to this is political commitment. In the early years of 1980 following a time of escalating oil prices, Denmark devoted to a different and new Energy Strategy, State of Green. That concept has steered Denmark to have confidence that it could shift and convert into an economy that is green and resource efficient, and by 2050 completely liberated of fossil fuels. Meanwhile Ireland falls behind in 20th spot in the Europe’s renewable energy consumption list.

Clean Energy Reforms

There is considerable educational analysis to show that although there are plenty of determining factors that affects the changeover to renewable energy which includes natural sources, culture as well as the availability of assets owned by the state, the influence of politics is the most substantial factor. In general, it is recognized and acknowledged that political systems that hold lesser political constrictions have lesser points of access where formidable and fierce veto or rejection players of status quo could slacken the movement and development of reforms for clean energy.

Over a long span of time, in several countries, government commitments to renewable energy that are well-defined have conquered difficulties and generated the call for these technologies, that has headed to impressive growth, progressing renewable technologies and pushing their costs downwards.
